HAKUNA MATATA

There are so many ways in which people die every day for real; murder, accident, disease et cetera et cetera. Yet, we always manage to brew up new ways of suicide; actually the technique is always the same; only the weapons differ. CONFUSED??? Just go back on your day and count, how many times did you make your heart race for that unfinished work assignment or make it skip a beat for that loosened friendship today? I bet everyone has a positive integer flashing in their head by now. Isn’t that suicide; shortening your own life while running after the immaterial materialistic pleasure? You killed the precious time you could have used instead to thank ‘The Almighty’ for having all the good in your life; the time you wasted in the company of trauma and curses. There was one thing I profoundly remember from the movie “17 Again”; apart from the overwhelmingly handsome heart throb Zac Effron of course; that “When you are young, everything seems like the end of the world but it really isn’...

OVER IT

Today, when I woke up to an amazing evening with a mild breeze ready to brush my cheeks and make me hug myself, my mind, behind the haystack made from weird hair, was fighting back scenes from   a dream(as beautiful as it was though) I had in the dreadful   afternoon nap. One thing that I can truly conclude is that troubling thoughts don’t leave you alone even when you put up shields of a subconscious mind. Coming back to the dream, last night, I was constantly fighting with myself for transforming into a person I never wanted to be. Just when you think you are completely over it and that “something” will never have an impact on you ever, it hits you in the face, mocking you and saying “I AM BACK”. There are no three words ...

Running Scared

The sea is one of the prettiest children of Mother Nature. Her vivacity at the boundries and calmness at her heart is what steals our hearts away.   Yet, there are those horrendous times when she loses her calmness to the anger and gets agitated. The whirlpools of this child suck in all the happy-go-luckiness in the air. It’s weird; something about the sea reminds me of us. There is an uncanny resemblance that humans bear with her. We too have a heart that needs to retain its peace; the only difference being, we lose our serenity quite easily and frequently as opposed to the deep. The question is, why so? Why is it that nature would affect us more than she would affect the sea, we all are her children. Then the answer came flying, that the turbulence builds in our own hearts and heads; we just find someone to blame in the outside world. I realize that it is easier said than done; especially considering the fact that I too have had those moments recently. But worrying didn’t give...
